Bunco Kelly is:
Morgan Pintarich
started playing guitar and singing when he was 13 years old. A prolific songwriter, he spent four years in New Orleans soaking up the local music scene. Shortly after his return to Oregon he joined Bunco Kelly as lead guitarist and vocalist.
Harley Cowan
played a variety of instruments since childhood including piano, cello, and saxophone. He later settled into the rhythm section with upright and electric bass. Harley plays a vital role in arranging music for the band.
Erik Gerding
always had love for music while growing up in Oregon. An old ukulele kept his interest for a while. Later in the early 1990's he picked up the guitar and later formed Bunco Kelly with Harley Cowan and Morgan Pintarich in 1997.
Tim Cowan
got his first guitar in 1992, the same year his brother got his first bass. He and Harley taught themselves to play together and the rest is history. Tim joined the alternative band Panada and then created the duo Cowan-Waters while going to college at Washington State University. He then moved to Portland where Bunco Kelly was looking for that something extra.
David Bertman
joined the band as a studio musician while "How It Came to Be" was being recorded and has stuck around since. David has been drumming in nearly every genre of music (jazz, rock, classical...it goes on) in a number of groups around Oregon including 2-Block Wheelie. Bunco Kelly is David's one and only venture into Country & Western music. He still experiments with hard rock and electronica with his other current act Utility Monkey.
